About Me!

Sierra R. Zinke

I am just your everyday bookworm who happens to be a chiropractor, here in North Carolina. Anyone who knows me knows that if I do not have a book on me (either hard copy or an ebook) something is desperately wrong.

I love reading Romance, Fantasy, Romantasy & Historical Fiction (yes I know that is the outlier, but no I cannot get enough, I just love them). But more than my love for books & reading, I love sharing my favorites with those around me.

When I am not working as a healthcare practitioner, or nose deep in a book, I love love love spending time outdoors with my partner Daniel and our pups Maverick & Mabel.

My Book Story

Everyone who loves to read or write or all of the above has a book story. A book that changed their lives, a person who encouraged them to read or maybe even both.

Here is mine:

As a child, I spent every other Friday night and all day Saturday at my grandmother's house, Sharon. She was one of my absolute favorite people in the world and is who I contribute my love for reading and books to currently.

We would frequent Barnes and Noble to pick up STACKS of books, literally whatever books I was feeling that week. Then we would head back to her house sit on opposite couches and read and read and read. Sometimes together, sometimes our own books but always books.

As I grew older, school took priority and I found that I really had fallen out of the book world, my grandmother was suffering from severe dementia and having anything to bring me close to her was necessary. So I picked up Book Lovers by Emily Henry and will never stop reading again. It gave me a passion, a hobby, a love for something magical and a way to be close to my grandmother who we recently lost in November (who I honored with the most amazing bookish tattoo)

My book story is emotional. And I thank you if you read all of this but I promise I am not a complete sap!
