I hope you all have a great holiday weekend, whether that is spent with friends, family, loved ones or even just curled up on the couch with a good book and some football.
Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays. I love food so overall a holiday with food that is designed to give thanks and be grateful for various aspects of our lives is really important.
That being said this year looks a little bit different than normal for us as we are actually not traveling or seeing family. This year we are spending time at home and with friends. I am really excited to be staying home but am slightly in my feelings regarding the change in schedule so I am taking some additional time to really think about things that I am grateful for.
This year I am grateful for so many things as this has been a huge year of growth and really determining who I am.
Here are 5 of the things that I am grateful for this year:
My family, friends and EVERYONE who has supported my author journey.
For my career, the growth I have accomplished this year and my profession and my supportive boss and team members.
The fact that I am able to move my body everyday and the health and wellness journey I am on.
BEING ABLE TO CELEBRATE THE LOVE OF ALL MY FRIENDS THIS YEAR AND NEXT
and my dogs. always my dogs.
What are you grateful for?
Take some time this weekend to disconnect from the social media, the work and the crazy stressors of life to just reflect on things you are grateful for but also celebrate family (even the ones you created yourself) and any wins you have had this year (yes the small ones count. they always count)
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Have the best and a safe holiday full of laughter, smiles and laughs.
